Christians Gone Wild: How to View a Spiritual Leader

519Roberto Clemente is known as one of the greatest athletes in Pittsburgh history. He became the first Latino World Series MVP, he was the 11th player in history to collect 3,000 hits, and there is even a bridge named after him right next to PNC Park. But Clemente’s early years were anything but great. Early on, he was unpopular, unsociable and unappreciated by his peers and fans alike. Funny how things change.

This weekend, at Crossroads Church in Cranberry, we are continuing our Christians Gone Wild series by looking at how we are to view spiritual leaders. In 1 Corinthians 4, Paul responds to a young church by encouraging them to neither ignore, nor idolize, those in leadership. On Sunday, we will closely look at how our views of spiritual leaders shape how we grow and lead others; and how to take care when evaluating others. Take some time to read and reflect on 1 Corinthians 4 and then join us Sunday as we continue our summer series on Christians Gone Wild.
