When we here the phrase chain reaction, we usually think of something destructive. Possibly a series of explosions from our favorite movie; or a pile up of cars in an auto accident. But there are also moments in life when we see positive and constructive chain reactions. A number of years ago the movie Pay it Forward illustrated such a movement. In this movie, one school age boy decided to start a positive chain reaction of generosity that impacted thousands around the world.
On Sunday we are going to look at the powerful impact one person can have when they are found by God, and then share that with someone else. In John 1:45-51 we see this chain reaction of faith starting when Jesus invites Philip to follow Him and Philip immediately shares this with his friend Nathanael. This show and tell of faith has continued on for centuries and still impacts people today.
