How Faith Grows: Expect It

How Faith Grows Vision Wall Poster copyOne of the greatest things about this season is the build up of expectation.  Last year my family started a tradition where our children create a chain of 25 paper rings that hang on their bedroom door.  Each day, the children the tear off one ring, thus creating a season of expectation leading up to Christmas!

The expectation the children feel during this season produces a special kind of joy.  However, the discipline of expectation is not just for children alone.  This weekend, at Crossroads Church in Cranberry, we are continuing our How Faith Grows series by looking at how expectation propels our faith.  In Hebrews 11:1, Scripture says “faith is the confidence in what we hope for and the assurance about what we do not see.”  Confidence and assurance in this verse require expectation.

Take some time this weekend to read through Hebrews 11 and join us this Sunday at 10:30 as we continue to look at how faith grows through expectation.
