There is more than one way for a relationship to be complicated. Maybe you have found yourself in a relationship that is stuck somewhere between friendship and something more; that’s complicated. Or maybe you have a relationship that constantly swings between trusted friend and heated enemy; that, too, is complicated.
This weekend at Crossroads Church in Cranberry we are finishing our Relationship Status series by looking at how God instructs us to handle complicated relationships. In Genesis 16: 1-6 we see how the relationship between Sarai and Hagar is complicated. We will see how relationships become complicated through the absence of commitment and the presence of conflict. We will also learn how to resolve complicated relationships by giving and expecting respect, learning to resolve conflict and asking why.
It is true that complicated relationship can effect more than those involved. In fact, this particular relationship has impacted millions through out history. Take some time this week to list those relationships in your life that are complicated and join us on Sunday as we learn to resolve complicated relationships.
